You have:

- Strong writing, editing and research skills are required.
- Familiarity or experience in a related task will be considered an advantage.
- Must attach or point to a short writing sample.

We are looking for two online volunteers to support us in writing at least five short stories for our campaigns. The short stories will focus on specific campaign theme. For example, the International Literacy Day campaign will focus on how Covid19 has impacted literacy in Africa. The volunteers are expected to do a brief research on each campaign theme and write a short story to convince citizens to take action for a cause.

We run campaigns on itakeactions.org to give citizens opportunities to take action for the issue they care about. The success of these campaigns highly depends on how well written the accompanying stories are. And the success is measured by how many citizens took action for the campaign.
Volunteers: 2 needed
1-5 hours per week / 24 weeks
Volunteers must have a very strong command of the English language. This task requires strong writing, editing and research skills. Familiarity or experience in a related task will be considered an advantage. Please attach (or point us to) a short writing sample to your application.
