Support CAEPA in drafting an Action Plan on Disaster Risk Reduction for Bamenda City.
You have:
- Very strong command of English required for effective communication and material development.
- Strong writing and editing skills needed for drafting and refining the Action Plan.
- Familiarity with technical terms related to disaster reduction and climate change will be considered an advantage.
- Volunteers will work 6-10 hours per week for a duration of 4 weeks.

CAEPA is looking for two online volunteers to support us in writing an Action Plan on Disaster Risk Reduction for Bamenda City in the North West Cameroon. One volunteer will draft the required material and work together with a second volunteer editing the material, with the support of our organization. Communication will be either through emails, WhatsApp, skype. At the end, CAEPA in collaboration with UNV online will issue a certificate as a sign of appreciation.

CAEPA is on the frontline to helping to reduce disaster risk. Bamenda city council area is subject to many disaster risks, causing intense suffering and hopelessness. In the midst of this humanitarian crisis, exacerbated by the Anglophone Conflict, urgent action is needed to improve people’s quality of life and take away the deep-rooted fears of death, violence, injury, and loss of assets, etc. The Action Plan will help CAEPA to propose appropriate solutions to policy makers and implementers for remediation of the situation of people of Bamenda City area in NW Cameroon.

6-10 hours per week / 4 weeks
Volunteers must have a very strong command of English. This task requires strong mastery of the English Language and its subtleties. Strong writing and editing skills are required. Familiarity with technical terms related to disaster reduction and climate change will be considered an advantage.
