Role Summary
The Workday Developer / Manager is responsible for the customization, extension, and integration of Workday and Adaptive systems to meet the evolving needs of TBI. This role works closely with the People & Finance teams to implement business requirements into the Workday environment and ensure that the system is tailored to deliver business value. The Workday Developer / Manager is also responsible for ensuring that the Workday system integrates smoothly with other enterprise platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Workday Customization: Develop and implement custom configurations and extensions within Workday and Adaptive systems based on business requirements provided by the business.
- System Management and Upgrades: Manage the Workday environment, ensuring it is up-to-date with the latest features and upgrades, while maintaining the stability of core functionalities.
- Integration with Other Systems: Work closely with the Integration & Data Engineer to ensure Workday integrates smoothly with other systems such as Microsoft Dynamics CRM, PowerApps, and any other enterprise platforms.
- Support Business Process Automation: Customize and automate Workday workflows to improve operational efficiency within the HR and finance functions.
- Collaboration with Design Team: Collaborate with Business Analysts and Digital Business Partners in the Design team to translate business needs into technical configurations and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Monitor System Performance: Continuously monitor and assess Workday’s performance, ensuring the system is scalable, secure, and meets performance standards.
- User Support and Training: Provide user support, including troubleshooting issues and providing guidance for end-users, as well as training business units on new functionalities or customizations.
