UVS is a non-governmental organization. UVS is looking for an online volunteer experienced in web design with a rich portfolio, qualifications and experience in order to refurbish organizations website. Other than having important information about the organization the website will mainly serve as a news website with a constant feed of both climate change and environment news. Thus develop in the “Additional Information” section a small plan/ideas on how you believe that these two can be best combined. Furthermore provide a sentence or two of how you envision the website (color-scheme & transition), you could get some inspiration from our social media accounts (@wwccnews).

  This project aims to expand our news updates through our website to develop a constant news feed of environmental issues through our work. This is why this online volunteer place are of utmost importance to Universal Versatile Society and the application process will be highly selective. Universal Versatile Society consists of a team of volunteers, a group of climate change fighters, whose mission is to cover Climate Change News on a weekly basis, ultimately to raise awareness and sensitize the audience of the severity of climate change while also inspiring them of solutions that they can adopt in their daily lives. We also inform our audience with objectivity and professionalism through our broadcasts, updating them of the latest news in decision-making within the fields of climate change and biodiversity.

• 6-10 hours per week / 8 weeks

  ● Visual design ● Familiarity with Operating Word Press ● UX (user experience) ● SEO (search engine optimisation) marketing and social media ● Using coding software like HTML and CSS ● Using design software, Photoshop and Illustrator ● Volunteers should have fresh and creative ideas ● Sensitivity and awareness in Climate Change and Environmental Issues Please merge the your portfolio and your CV.
