Web Design and App Development for Family Farmer Project

Our organization is working on developing an Eco-village under which we have 'Family Farmer' project. Web Design and App Development task is consist of creating an E-commerce platform to connect farmers in Vidarbha with the consumers in cities to market their organic produce. This platform may give access to consumers to register themselves through app/website to receive organic vegetables/food grains at their doorstep from the local farmer. Further consumers may get thorough information of the farmers to visit their farms. This may help to promote agro-tourism. 3 Online Volunteers will work on Web Design and another 3 will work on App Development. Selection of Online Volunteers will be done accordingly.

  Farmers in western Vidarbha are going through most awful situation. To address this issue, we have developed a very comprehensive project of Regenerative agriculture / Permaculture. Under which we established groups of farmers to adopt sustainable way of regenerative agriculture. Which will minimise the cultivation cost, promote the soil health and will produce nutritious poison free food. To market this produce, we need to have a common platform for farmer and consumers to mutually benefit each others. Farmers may get value to their produce and in returns consumers may get nutritious organic food at their doorstep.

• Volunteers: 6 needed

• 6-10 hours per week / 10 weeks

  For App Development part- Working knowledge of Java, SQL,SDK and Android Studio, XML, etc. is expected from candidates. For Web Design- ● UX (user experience) ● SEO (search engine optimisation) marketing and social media ● Using coding software like HTML and CSS ● Using design software, Photoshop and Illustrator ● Candidates should have fresh and creative ideas ● Knowledge of WordPress ● Knowledge of front and backend frameworks (E.g Bootstrap, material design)
