Web Application Testing for SupTech for Fair Digital Finance
Contract
This is a UNV contract. More about UNV contracts.
To understand and analyze consumer sentiments towards financial authorities' decisions and policies, UNDP Morocco’s Accelerator, Morocco Central Bank and SDG AI Lab have partnered to identify the needs and issues the most vulnerable social groups face. To do so the partners used social listening to amplify the collective voice of consumers and highlight the concerns of the most marginalized people. SDG AI Lab has used Machine Learning and Natural Language techniques to collect and analyze data from social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. The developed Supervisory Technology (SupTech) solution offers insights on financial stability, inclusion, and market conduct. The SupTech helps to identify and understand real-time market issues, particularly affecting vulnerable groups.
The online volunteers will support the ongoing project on providing fair digital finance including vulnerable groups. The volunteers will work on the testing phase of an existing web application. The tasks:
Writing unit tests for django views
Writing unit tests for python functions

SDG AI Lab will support the volunteer as needed, with regular check-ins and maintaining collaboration through MS Teams and GitHub group repository. The volunteer will work under the coordination of the Technical Specialist of the ICPSD.
