Web Application Development support with React

The volunteers will be working on web-based product development for a project called AI for Tourism. Their work will involve supporting web-based product development for Malawi and Tanzania with collaboration SDG AI Lab.

ICPSD is looking for Online Volunteers with experience in front-end development with React and Typescript. The volunteers will support the ongoing web application front-end development process. The volunteers will work on specific requirements to complete web application front-end. The support tasks expected from the online volunteers will include: 1) Implementing charts to the existing front-end app following the product design, 2) API development to connect back-end and front-end following the product design description

Bachelor’s in computer science, software engineering or related field with a strong interest in web development. Following technologies summarizes the expected knowledge:

Proven experience of React and Typescript

Proven experience on API development

Strong knowledge of Github actions and git workflow

Strong knowledge of leaflet GIS library would be an asset

Knowledge of chakra ui would be an asset.
