You have:

Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in water resources management, natural resources management, agriculture or related field.
A minimum of 7 years of experience in the areas of water resources management, including at least 1 year of experience working in the area of climate change.
Fluency in English and Arabic is required; knowledge of French is desirable.
A good understanding of economic development in the Arab region is required.

Duties and Responsibilities The main functions of the Water and Climate Advisor would be: - Provide guidance on identifying risks at national level, address potential challenges; - Review and provide advisory input to reports; - Provide strategic and scientific guidance on implementation oppurtunities;

Qualifications/special skills Academic Qualifications: Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in water resources management, natural resources management, agriculture or related field. A first-level university degree in combination with qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced university degree. Experience: A minimum of 7 years of experience in the areas of water resources management, including at least 1 year of experience working in the area of climate change. A good understanding of economic development in the Arab region is required. Language: Fluency in English and Arabic is required; knowledge of French is desirable.
