Water and Climate Advisor
Result of Service The Advisor will review and comment upon scieintific reports and ensure coherence with national policies.

Duties and Responsibilities The main functions of the Water and Climate Advisor would be: - Provide guidance on identifying risks at national level, address potential challenges; - Review and provide advisory input to reports; - Provide strategic and scientific guidance on implementation oppurtunities;
Qualifications/special skills Academic Qualifications: Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in water resources management, natural resources management, agriculture or related field. A first-level university degree in combination with qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced university degree. Experience: A minimum of 7 years of experience in the areas of water resources management, including at least 1 year of experience working in the area of climate change. A good understanding of economic development in the Arab region is required. Language: Fluency in English and Arabic is required; knowledge of French is desirable.
