Lead WASH infrastructure activities in Herat province; ensure quality and timely implementation.
You have:
- Bachelor's in engineering, Water engineering, Civil engineering or related degree.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in implementing water, sanitation, and community infrastructure in emergency or post-disaster settings.
- Strong familiarity with Afghanistan water and sanitation standards and international WASH SPHERE standards.
- Extensive knowledge and work experience in Afghanistan, preferably in the western & southern regions including Herat and Kandahar.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to achieve cooperation and agreement among diverse groups with competing priorities.
- Strong technical writing skills in Pashto and English.
- Good strategic thinking and planning skills with eagerness for innovation.
- Excellent time management skills and resourcefulness with strong attention to details.
