You have:

  • At least 3 years of experience in warehouse management or related field.
  • Proficient in inventory management software and databases.

  • Strong communication skills in English and local languages.

DIMENSIONS OF ROLE

This position is to maintain inventory and supplies by receiving, storing, and delivering items and securing the warehouse.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Key Deliverables

  • Receive sample items and receive goods in line with samples, update store record, and communicate delivery note to the country office procurement team.
  • Arrange stock and maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse's internal and external space.
  • Receive approved store request, distribution plan, accurately package items for distribution and complete warehouse dispatch documents.
  • Maintain an up-to-date daily casual workers request tracker with their respective contact numbers and communicate with finance weekly to enable payment processing.
  • Dispatch goods and maintain an up-to-date stock card on stock items.

  • Complete stock reconciliation reports monthly and report to the supervisor on the last working day of every month.

  • Maintain an up-to-date and unique filing system for all documents.
  • Meets warehouse operational standards by communicating challenges related to the warehouse management and proffering possible solutions for quality program delivery.
  • Maintain proper inventory by scheduling commodities to be moved to and from the warehouse; coordinating inventory transfers with stores at the school.
  • Meets the minimum standards of the warehouse by organising floor space; adhering to storage design principles and recommending improvements.
  • Maintains inventory by conducting weekly and monthly physical counts; reconciling variances, and inputting data.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
  • Accomplishes warehouse and organization mission by completing related tasks as needed.
  • Perform any other duties from time to time as assigned by the District

General Accountability

Ensures that Plan International’s global policies for Child Protection (CPP) and Gender Equality and Inclusion (GEI) are fully embedded in accordance with the principles and requirements of the policy including relevant Implementation Standards and Guidelines as applicable to their area of responsibility. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring staff and associates are aware of and understand their responsibilities under these policies and Plan International’s Code of Conduct (CoC), their relevance to their area of work, and that concerns are reported and managed in accordance with the appropriate procedures.

Ensure staff understand Plan International’s commitment to driving a feminist agenda within the organisation, and the ambition for gender equality and gender transformative leadership is embedded in our value- based leadership framework.
