Overview

Support preparation of analytical study on harmful subsidies to biodiversity.

You have:

  • An advanced university degree (master’s degree or higher) in European governance, Political Science, Social Sciences or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years (with master’s degree) of demonstrated experience in reporting and monitoring.
  • Fluency in English is required.

BIOFIN would like to hire an online UNV to support the preparation of a cross-country analytical study on subsidies harmful to biodiversity and potential reform pathways under the Biodiversity Finance Initiative (BIOFIN). The analysis will draw on BIOFIN country studies and other relevant sources to identify trends, reform experiences, and policy insights across countries.

The incumbent will support the analytical work by: • reviewing relevant BIOFIN reports and related analyses; • contributing to comparative analysis across countries; • assisting in the preparation of analytical materials such as tables, summaries, and policy insights. All outputs produced under this collaboration will remain internal working documents unless otherwise authorized by UNDP.
