Produce high-quality voice recordings in Portuguese for an online course.

You have:

• Native Portuguese speaker required.
• Experience in voice acting required.
• Possess own equipment for recording high quality audio.
• Previous experience with the UN is an asset.
• Ability to produce voice recordings in MP3 format.

We are looking for Portuguese-speaking volunteers who have experience in voice acting. The volunteers will be asked to produce voice recordings of very high quality to support our online course for young leaders and advocates. The volunteer should have the necessary equipment to produce these recordings and send them to us as mp3 files. UNITAR will send the volunteers a word document with the texts that need to be recorded, including the context and tone we are going for. The volunteer then records these texts and sends the mp3 files to UNITAR.

  UNITAR's Division for Peace is currently developing an app-based online course for young leaders, advocates, professionals, young leaders in civil society and student leaders, who have been selected into the African Youth Charter Hustlers Initiative programme to lead the advocacy on the ratification and implementation of the African Youth Charter in Member States. This online course is developed in multiple languages and will contain voice recordings for visualisation exercises.

• Volunteers: 2 needed

• 1-5 hours per week / 1 weeks

  The volunteers need to be native speakers in either Arabic or Portuguese (please specify in your application which of the languages you apply for). They should have prior experience in voice acting; prior experience with the UN would be considered an asset. Furthermore, the volunteer is required to possess their own equipment that allows for producing high quality audio files. Phones and their recording function do not produce good quality, so we advise you use a good microphone/ speaker system.
