Overview

Produce high quality voice recordings for an online course

You have:

  • Native English speaker with prior experience in voice acting.
  • Possession or access to a computer with a good internal microphone.
  • Good internet connectivity for the recording of high-quality audios.

We are looking for native English speakers who have experience in voice acting. The volunteers will be asked to produce voice recordings of very high quality for an online selfpaced course. UNITAR will send the volunteers a word document with the texts that need to be recorded, including the information on the context and tone we are going for. UNITAR will also advise on online free software that the volunteer could use and provide a technical How-To guide for the recording of the audios on the software. The volunteers would then record these texts and send the mp3 files to UNITAR.

As part of UNITAR'S commitments to advance the role of women in peace processes, this specific project is aimed at empowering members of the FemWise-Africa Network as Ambassadors for peace and security through targeted capacity building offers, including online courses.

    The volunteers need to be an English native speakers and they should have prior experience in voice acting. Furthermore, the volunteers are required to possess or have access to a computer with a good internal microphone as well as good internet connectivity to ensure the recording of good quality audios.
