Expected duration Three months; extendable upon the availability of fund

Duties and Responsibilities In accordance with Agency policy and procedures, the incumbent:

i. Responsible for capturing and editing videos covering the Agency’s services, human interest stories, donors’ contributions, field visits, with photos and videos and any other request assigned by the Public Information Officer.

ii. Checking the materials including photos and videos received from donors, partners, and Agency’s programms to make sure they are within the guidelines.

iii. Coming up with different ideas and creative storyboards for the videos.

iv. Supervises the progress of UNRWA electronic video archiving system and devises an appropriate national, regional, and international distribution system for video and audio products, as required.

v. Ensures the implementation of Audio-Visual (AV) media communications campaigns and establishes supportive relationships with the Fields.

vi. Evaluating the audio and video activities; conducts needs assessments and makes recommendations as appropriate.

- Keeps abreast of current practices, trends, approaches, and latest technological developments in AV media.

II. Support in the donor visibility visual work.

III. Have a view on content planning and what works best for the agency and organize them.

IV. Analyses user requirements and needs for graphic art communications projects.

V. Advises on and develops solutions to meet identified requirements within cost and time constraints.

VI. liaises with PIO team during all phases of any project implementation from concept to delivery to monitor and evaluate progress and assure quality of deliverables.

VII. Designs, prepares, enhance and produces a wide variety of graphic artwork including: - Monthly Emergency Reports - Printing packages (all layout and design files, including pre-press for the - printing house and web-versions) for publications and other communication products, such as reports, brochures, handbooks, leaflets, charts, photographs, posters, folders) - Social Media posts designs

VIII. Performs other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor(s).

Qualifications/special skills Academic Qualifications:

A university degree in film making, video production, Graphic design.

Experience:

Two years’ experience in production of audio-visual media.

Language:

Very good command of written and spoken English and Arabic

Additional Information Remuneration:

The basic salary is JOD 700 for a period of 3 months; extendable upon the availability of fund.

Desirable Qualification:

* Applicable software programmes including, but not limited to, Adobe Premiere, final cut, Photoshop, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and other software programmes.

*Applicable software programmes including, but not limited to, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, In-design, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and other software programmes.

*Ability to research and prepare specifications and costs estimates for graphic design, colors, materials and presentations
