Videographer
Result of Service Production of final communication material in KSA related to economic, financial and development issues, such as, but not limited to: - Raw videos for 5 interviews related to specific SDG - Rushes and still photos for governmental institutions (3 to 5) - Rushes and still photos for public spaces (3 to 5) - Rushes and still photos for old souks and people in the streets (3 to 5) - Other rushes and photos upon request.
Work Location Khartoum, Sudan
Expected duration 6 months (renewable)
Duties and Responsibilities Brief and Scope of Work: Under the supervision of the Secretary of the Commission and Head of External Relations and Communications at ESCWA, the videographer will take interviews, still photos and other footage required. He/She will be involved in the pre-production of the video to be shot. He/She will handle all related activities, including interviewing, audio taking and lighting.
Main responsibilities:
- Film videos on set or on location.
- Take photos
- Ensure that equipment for a shoot is present and working.
- Plan the shoot with the creative team and the client.
- Edit footage in post-production.
- Direct other camera operators so that the needed footage is acquired.
- Excellent computer literacy.
- Proficiency with editing software such as PhotoShop.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Relative fitness and stamina to work long hours.
Proficiency with camera equipment.
Qualifications/special skills Academic Qualifications: Bachelor degree in multimedia is required. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in planning, filming, and editing videos that could be used for a variety of projects such as movies, advertisements, social media videos, or television shows is required. Language: Fluency in Arabic is required. Knowledge of English is desirable
