We are looking for 1 online volunteer to help us produce (edit) a high-quality video clip that will be shown during the celebration of the International Volunteer Day (IVD) 2020. We will provide the volunteer with raw footage of volunteer activities during the year, as well as guidance on what we would like the final video to look like in advance. The design and its layout should follow the UNV design guidelines, which will be shared with the volunteers in advance.

The UN has declared the 5th December as the International Volunteer Day (IVD) to encourage governments to support volunteer efforts and recognize volunteer contributions to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at local, national and international levels. The UNV coordinates a campaign to promote IVD every year, building on the impact volunteers have on communities, nationally and globally, for peace and development. In 2020, the UNV will launch its biggest celebration to date, bringing together UN entities, NGOs and governments from all over the world to cherish the volunteer efforts.

6-10 hours per week / 4 weeks
Candidates should have basic video editing skills, as well as access to necessary video editing programmes (e.g. Adobe Premiere). Please include examples of previous related work in your application.
