Under the Challenge Fund modality, in total more than 90 initiatives has been implemented in 11 countries of Eastern Europe and Central Asia. The Partnerships Team invites Online Volunteers to contribute to the work of UNDP Eastern Europe and Central Asia by supporting the Istanbul Regional Hub to ensure the visibility of the successful initiatives.

Through stronger communications, UNDP showcases the progress toward SDGs, highlights donor and partner contributions to our work and promotes cross-cutting issues of innovation, digitalization, and inclusion across all UNDP's programmes.

Seeking a video editing for innovation challenge modality for creation of 2 short videos, which capture the vasic rules and contaxt of the modality of "innovation challenge". Innovation challenge is a new type of procurement, which aims to atract more and new actors in the development cooperation.

A) Video about the projects, which has been implemented under the modality (in a form or overview of results and description of their context) B) Video about the application process and requirements (for applicants) (in a form of step by step guide)

Script and raw material will be provided to the selected cancidates, and the expectations and contexts will be discussed with him/her into the detail.

We are seeking the support of Online Volunteers with video editing and pictures compilation experience to prepare 2 short videos for the use on social media and similar occasions, both with the maximum of 30s and with the graphical design with a high quality.

While Volunteers should provide the editing work and suggestion on the style style, tone, flow and coherence of videos, IRH assumes full responsibility for approving the videos' final version.

Consultations will be emailed through the coordinator at IRH, including feedback iterations and a deadline for finalizing the mentioned videos. The IRH will fully credit Online Volunteers on the final product.

Manipulating and editing video clips Reviewing, shooting script and raw material to create creative output Convert recorded footage into a finished project that matches organization’s vision and is suitable for broadcasting/sharing on social media Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects, create rough and final cuts

Creative mind and storytelling skills Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. shots compositing, Premiere, special effects, Photoshop, and Final Cut or similar) Proven work experience as a video editor (professional or amateur) Experience with subtitles editing (desirable)
