Video Editing for Climate Change News

Through our initiative 'Weekly World Climate Change News' we are serving the global audiences by publishing environment related updates. For this purpose we need Video Editors to get newsroom effects to the news footage. Volunteer (Video editor) may get the video clips shooted by News Anchor which further, he/she need to edit through any video editing software. The length of video will be 4 to 8 minutes maximum. Edited video then has to publish on given YouTube Channel. This is weekly once activity volunteer has to perform. Appointed volunteers (Video Editors) may contribute in editing the news clips and upload it on to given YouTube channel.

  As per UNSDG Goal 13, 'Global warming is causing long-lasting changes to our climate system, which threatens irreversible consequences if we do not act'. Thus for mass awakening and wider action, making public aware of climate change is the necessary. Our initiative 'Weekly World Climate Change News' is a year old project aiming to contribute to SDG goal No 13. Our sole emphasis is to make the global audience aware of evil effects of climate change and related facts. To achieve this objective, our dedicated team of Project Manager, Chief Editor, News Editor, News Anchor, News writer, etc are working weekly to serving 500+ global subscribers in English, Spanish, Arabic, French, German, Ukrainian and Hindi language.

• Volunteers: 5 needed

• 1-5 hours per week / 20 weeks

  Individual should have basic knowledge of video editing and mixing with experience in working on any video editing software or apps. Video editing involves, arranging the video clips, editing anchor's green screen background to get newsroom appearance, giving musical animated welcome title, news headline pop up message strips and end credentials. Fast internet connection service and timely submission of assignment is highly expected.
