Overview

Coordinate UN country teams and support RCO Iran.

You have:

  • Master’s degree in one of the following fields: International relations, Law, Humanities, Business Administration, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, social sciences, or related area.
  • A Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience is acceptable in lieu of a master’s degree.
  • At least 2-year experience in sustainable development, international relations, communications, or public administration is required.
  • Experience in organizing and providing support for senior level meetings and missions is desirable.
  • Knowledge of UN and related procedures, principles and terminologies is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English and Persian is required; knowledge of another UN official language is an advantage.

Expected duration From 01 October to 31 December 2022.

Duties and Responsibilities Given the heavy coordination demands placed on the Resident Coordinator's Office in the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding finalizing, signing, and implementing the UNSDCF, this contract's main objective is to support the RCO Iran in coordinating the UN country teams' meetings and UN Iran inter-agency working groups meetings and UNSDF-related events, surveys, and scorecards and facilitate the reporting.

Qualifications/special skills Academic Qualifications: Master’s degree in one of the following fields: International relations, Law, Humanities, Business Administration, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, social sciences, or related area.
