You have:
- At least 3 years of work experience is required.
- Knowledge of Streaming media technology is required.
- Hands-on experience on cloud video platforms is required.
- Experience with the Kaltura cloud video platform is desirable.
- Fluency in spoken and written English is required.
- Knowledge of an additional official UN language is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Result of Service
The IC will schedule, monitor, provide live streaming coverage, edit and publish on UN Web TV at least 50 meetings/events per month. The candidate will provide translation of metadata text from English to another official language for at least 40 meetings per month.

Duties and Responsibilities
Under the overall supervision by the Chief of the Unit and the direct coordination with the Languages team leader, the candidate will: • Provide daily live and on-demand streaming coverage on UN Web TV (webtv.un.org), of the 80th General Assembly (GA) session, including for the six GA Committees, as well as with other United Nations meetings and events held at UNHQ New York. • Schedule and monitor the live streaming coverage, create videos clips from live events, edit recorded videos and publish them on the UN Web TV cloud video platform along with relevant language metadata for each video. • Translate metadata text from English to other assigned official language. • Assist with the live and on-demand streaming coverage on Social Media accounts, including the UN YouTube channel and the UN Web TV Facebook and X platform accounts. • Create and provide detailed analytics for assigned events to clients. • Perform any other tasks as needed.
Qualifications/special skills
At least 3 years of work experience is required. Knowledge of Streaming media technology is required. Hands-on experience on cloud video platforms is required. Experience with the Kaltura cloud video platform is desirable.
Languages
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. Fluency in spoken and written English is required. Knowledge of an additional official UN language is required. Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish are the official languages of the United Nations Secretariat.
