Overview

Provide technical advice and support for child protection interventions.

You have:

  • Master’s degree in Law, Social Sciences, International Development, etc.
  • At least 4 years of professional experience in child protection and donor reporting.
  • Field experience in child protection and community interventions against child marriage.
  • Proficient in reporting tools and data collection.
  • Leadership skills, teamwork in multidisciplinary environments, and strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Good command of French and English.

Le programme de PE de l'UNICEF Bénin est orienté vers des choix stratégiques promouvant un changement transformationnel à long terme pour sauvegarder les droits à la PE de tous les enfants, par le biais d'un système de gouvernance axé sur les droits avec un accent mis sur la prévention et le renforcement des capacités des débiteurs d’obligation au niveau institutionnel, communautaire et familial et l’autonomisation des détenteurs de droits que sont principalement les enfants et adolescent.es, selon une approche transformatrice de genre qui placera la fille/adolescente au coeur des interventions.

Le département de la PE est appuyé par plusieurs partenaires techniques et financiers, dont le Canada, dans le cadre d’un programme intitulé EVIPROG. Ce vaste appui s’étend sur 3 départements au Nord du Bénin, à savoir l’Alibori, l’Atacora et la Donga. Ce programme entraine de nombreux partenariats avec des acteurs de mise en oeuvre sur le terrain nécessitant un suivi régulier et un appui rapproché pour une collecte de donnée de qualité.

Dans le cadre de ce partenariat UNICEF-Canada, un important rapport est attendu pour mars 2025 impliquant le rapportage des données entre avril 2024 et mars 2025 et la mise à jour des avancées des 39 indicateurs du programme.

Enfin, le département de la PE développe actuellement plusieurs documents de programmes pour de nouvelles interventions. Un appui est actuellement nécessaire pour l’élaboration des budgets et la rédaction des indicateurs et narratifs des documents de programme, en alignement avec les attentes et les indicateurs des partenaires techniques et financiers soutenant l’UNICEF.

Le programme étant vaste avec un élargissement accru des interventions et des partenaires de mise en oeuvre, la section protection souhaite l’appui d’un.e consultant.e international outillé pour (i) l’élaboration des budgets et documents de programme des nouveaux partenariats, (ii) l’élaboration du rapport au donateur dû pour mars 2025 et (iii) le suivi de la collecte de donnée de la section pour un contrôle qualité.

How can you make a difference?

Sous la supervision de la cheffe protection, le ou la titulaire sera chargé de fournir des conseils techniques, un leadership et des contributions stratégiques, de soutenir le développement et la mise en oeuvre de stratégies sur le déploiement du paquet d’intervention de protection et une expertise avérée sur la prise en compte de l’approche transformatrice de genre. Il devra développer les documents de programmes et les budgets en fonction des financements disponibles de la section, rédiger le rapport au bailleur canadien et contribuer à la collecte des données de la PE.

Le ou la consultant (e) travaillera en étroite collaboration avec l’équipe de Cotonou et les 2 bureaux de zone. De façon spécifique, il aura à :

• Apporter un appui technique pour le développement de budgets et de documents de programme

• Appuyer la finalisation du PTA 2025

• Contribuer à la planification, la mise en oeuvre, le suivi des interventions et notamment le suivi de la complétude des indicateurs par les partenaires et de l’atteinte des résultats fixés

• Rédiger le rapport au donateur Canadien

• Contribuer à la rédaction des rapports pour le Luxembourg et le Cash+Care

• Appuyer la section dans la collecte de données annuelle

• Toute autre tâche pertinente en appui à la section, sur demande.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

  • Avoir une Master en droit, sciences humaines, développement international, etc.
  • Avoir au moins 4 ans d'expérience professionnelle en protection de l’enfant et rapportage aux bailleurs
  • Avoir une expérience de terrain de la protection de l’enfant et des interventions communautaires sur la lutte pour l’élimination des mariages des enfants
  • Maîtriser les outils de rapportages et la collecte des données
  • Avoir des compétences en leadership, en travail d'équipe multidisciplinaire et en formation et en communication écrite et orale ;
  • Maîtriser les outils informatiques, notamment les logiciels Excel, Word et PowerPoint
  • Bonne maitrise du français et de l'anglais
