Support monitoring and evaluation of TVET projects.
You have:
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering, education, international studies, management, business administration, or any relevant field.
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 3 years with a Master’s degree.
- Experience in education, vocational training, humanitarian and/or development work.
- Proven experience in labor market linkages.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
Result of Service The following conditions are to be observed:
- Remuneration will be on a monthly basis and to the equivalent of a P2 position, with a monthly salary of USD 4,000.
Payment will be released on submission of a monthly attendance sheet
Work Location UNRWA HQ(Amman)-Education Department
Expected duration - The position will run on a full-time basis from 1 March – 15 December 2022.
Duties and Responsibilities The Consultant will work closely with the Chief of TVET and Youth Division in HQ, Amman, and will specifically:
Support in monitoring, evaluating and reporting on the implementation of the SDC project.
- Support in monitoring, analysing, evaluating and reporting on TVET indicators and other related issues.
- Support in revising and enriching related TVET documents.
- Revise and update the documents and tools related to Labour Market Linkages (LML) as necessary.
- Develop a Framework for LML in coordination with the TVET Division at HQA and the Fields.
Support the implementation of the LML Framework through intensive communication and support to the Fields.
Qualifications/special skills Academic Qualifications: - A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, education, international studies, management, business administration, or any relevant field; Experience: - A minimum of 4 years’ experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or three years with a Master’s degree;
- International candidates must have at least two continuous years of relevant international experience outside the country of which the candidate is a national or holds citizenship, a passport or national identity card;
- Experience in education, vocational training, humanitarian and/or development work;
- Proven experience in labor market linkages;
- Experience in supporting and monitoring projects;
- Proven experience in researching and writing reports and strategic documents;
- Proven critical thinking, creativity, and analytical skills;
- Excellent proficiency in computer applications including Internet, word processing, spread- sheets, databases; Language: - Excellent command of written and spoken English.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
- An advanced university degree from an accredited educational institution in engineering, education, international development, social sciences, or related fields.
- Written and verbal skills in Arabic language.
- Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook.
REPORTING
The hired consultant will directly report to the Chief of TVET and Youth Division.
