Duties and Responsibilities - Revise the Terms of Reference of the Trust Fund for Economic and Social Information (32ESA) - Design and create a project document template in consultation with programme managers of all divisions of DGC - Develop guidelines on conducting evaluations for projects financed from the Trust Fund, including criteria for selection of projects for evaluation - Develop a policy for Trust Fund projects and include guidance on SMART (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, time bound) key performance indicators (KPI) to enable objective assessment of the impact of project activities - Develop risk mitigation measures and a monitoring mechanism to ensure that Trust Fund projects are implemented in a timely manner. - Establish the workflow on planning, implementation, approving, evaluation, and closure of projects under the DGC trust fund

Qualifications/special skills Academic Qualifications: Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in business or public administration, finance, accounting, law or related area. A first-level university degree in combination with two years qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree. Experience: A minimum of ten years of progressively responsible experience in administration, budget, finance or related field required.

Experience in implementing administrative and financial policies and practices at Headquarters of the United Nations or similar international organization is required.

Experience in funds management, grants and voluntary contributions management and project management is required. Language: Fluency in English is required; knowledge of another official UN Language is desirable.
