You have:

With this task, WHO aims to have various materials on health-related topics for the Communications Teams translated from English into Azerbaijani or vice versa to communicate and advocate wellbeing, and increase accessibility of documents and group interventions to a wider audience.

The selected candidates will have the opportunity to provide translations of communication materials of WHO to increase the visibility and raising awareness in the country

We are seeking 2 online Volunteers to support us by translating health related materials of WHO from English to Azerbaijani or vice versa. 1 Online Volunteer will be asked to translate from English to Azerbaijani, while the other one will be asked to proofread the translated documents for high-quality assurance. The task includes:

  • Translating 5-7 brief documents (approximately 2-4 pages each) and 5-7 PowerPoint presentations, from English to Azerbaijani (for 1 volunteer) and proofreading (for the other 1 volunteer)
  • Ensuring the translation is concise, in line with WHO communications guidelines, and fits the audience

The selected Online Volunteers will be provided with the documents in English/Azerbaijani language and will receive guidance on the target audience and our communications guidelines as well as other guidance as needed.
