You have:

  • Minimum of 3 years in translation.

Following the launch of UNODC West and Central Africa’s English website, UNODC Trafficking in Persons and Smuggling of Migrants (TIPSOM) unit is looking for a motivated translator online volunteer who will support our Team to translate all content from French to English on our website, as well as support us in the translation of new content. This includes the translation of webstories and graphic and audiovisual content.

  • Translating online content from French to English;
  • Translating infographic products (two pagers, flyers, graphics, etc.);
  • Supporting the translation of French to English TIPSOM videos for the production of subtitles.

  • Minimum of 3 years in translation.

  • Candidates should be professional translators with previous experience, have in-depth knowledge of UN language - in particular, be familiar with the technical language of UNODC - and good verbal and written communication skills.
  • A degree in translation and interpretation or a related field is considered an asset. Candidates should demonstrate strict compliance with deadlines.
