Nature-based Solutions (NbS) are defined by IUCN as “actions to protect, sustainably manage, and restore natural or modified ecosystems, that address societal challenges effectively and adaptively, simultaneously providing human well-being and biodiversity benefits”.
This manual teaches policy makers and practicioners about the use of Nature-based Solutions in urban areas to help with climate adaptation needs.

Translation of Nature-based Solutions manual of approximately 17,000 words from Spanish to English. This will be a team effort working with three other translators. In translating the document, the team must agree on a common translation to apply to specific terms throughout the text to ensure consistency and avoid confusing readers. Creating a shared Google sheet for this will be necessary, in addition to frequent (once every two days, approximately) check-ins with one another.
Background in translation and knowledge of climate change, ecosystems, natural resource management.
