The optimized school meals programme aims to ensure that all primary school-aged children have access to safe, adequate and nutritious food all-year round. At the moment, more than 850 schools in the Kyrgyz Republic have replaced "bun and tea" with hot diverse healthy meals.

During the assignment, online volunteers will assist the Policy and Partnerships Unit of UN WFP Country Office in Kyrgyzstan in the organization of a national lesson for all school students of Kyrgyzstan on healthy diet basics. The online volunteers will translate three lesson plans from English to Russian and Kyrgyz.

Fluent knowledge of Russian and Kyrgyz languages Experience in translation is required Work or volunteer experience with school-age children is desirable
