Translate from English to Arabic for health promotion strategy

The volunteer will, to the best of his ability, competently and correctly translate the English version of the document into the Arabic language. The document is used to inform the public about different health topics. The text may contain some professional vocabulary in a small amount. Most of the document uses ordinary understandable words. The document contains from up to 10 pages in A4 format.
We are seeking 1 Online Volunteers to support us by translating the brochure about mental health services in Arabic for refugees living in Iraq from English language to Arabic language. To this end the Online Volunteers are asked: - To translate the document, which is approximately 30-50 pages format A4 long into Arabic - Ensure the translation is concise, in line with our communications guidelines, and fits the audience The selected Online Volunteers will be provided with the document in the original language and will receive guidance on the target audience and our communications guidelines as well as other guidance as needed.
All support during the work of the volunteer will be provided by the host WHO CO Iraq upon request. The Online Volunteers will have the opportunity to build connections with the World Health Organization Country Office and learn about the ways in which the translated product contributes to risk communication and emergency response, what impact the information has on affected communities and how communication with refugees can be set up.
Candidates should be native in Arabic language and fluent in English language. Familiarity with technical terms related to public health will be considered an advantage. Previous translation experience is considered an asset. Important is the ability not only to translate, but also to interpret the words (use simply clear and understandable for all people language).
