You have:

Advanced university degree (Master's or equivalent) in Change Management, Communications, User Experience Design, Design and Strategy, Arts Administration or a related field.
At least 7 years of engagement, experience design, UX, design strategy, human centered design, design thinking tools and methods, or related field is required.
Excellent visual design skills, including branding, graphics, and video is required.
Creative thinker, action-oriented, versatile, ability to adapt in dynamic environment and takes initiative is required.
Fluency in written and oral English is required; French is also beneficial.

Details

Result of Service The consultant will contribute to the development of a plan to scale the Transformers Programme, specifically s/he will advise on the outcomes of experience design workshops and engagements to ensure more engaging experiences for participants the train-the-trainers programmes in the spirit of continuous improvement. S/he will also advise on improving experience for participants of Innovation Day, the NewWork community and Propeller-related activities.

Expected duration 1 August - 31 December 2023

Duties and Responsibilities - Champion prioritization of design-centered programme enhancements grounded in research and analysis - Support the re-alignment of messaging across the programmes managed by the Innovation Team, including Innovation Day and NewWork; - Draft communications materials and advise on the improvement of existing materials/branding/messaging; - Advise on Propeller user experience and alignment of products across the service; - Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management

Qualifications/special skills Advanced university degree (Master's or equivalent) in Change Management, Communications, User Experience Design, Design and Strategy, Arts Administration or a related field. A first-level university degree in the specified fields in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree. At least 7 years of engagement, experience design, UX, design strategy, human centered design, design thinking tools and methods, or related field is required. Excellent visual design skills, including branding, graphics, and video is required. Creative thinker, action-oriented, versatile, ability to adapt in dynamic environment and takes initiative is required. Experience with transformational projects and change initiatives with a variety of organizations, including international organizations and governments is desired.

Languages English and French are the working languages of the UN. Fluency in written and oral English is required.
