Org. Setting and Reporting Is responsible to the Deputy Principal Training Centre and Chief, Vocational Training Instructor through the appropriate Senior Instructor.

Responsibilities In accordance with established Agency policy and procedures is responsible for teaching the subject of specialization to vocational (training) trainees and in particular:

  • Organizes and develops the subject of specialization.

  • Coordinates the teaching of the subject with subjects taught by other instructors.

  • Ensures the proper implementation of the subject syllabus and the evaluation of its effectiveness under the direction of the supervisors concerned.

  • Maintains records and control of different supplies of the section and for the care and proper utilization of the facilities and equipment.

  • Participates in co curricular activities in the Centre and in different summer courses when required.

  • Participates with other staff members in maintaining order and discipline in the Centre.

  • Performs such other duties as may be assigned.

    Education TRADE INSTRUCTOR ‘A’ GRADE 11:

  • Successful completion of full Secondary Education., plus two years post secondary Technical Course in an area directly related to the trade to be taught as follows:

•Mechanical/ Diesel •Gen Electrician-solar energy •Gen Electrician •Auto Electrician & hybrid •Auto Mechanic •Building Construction •CCTV & security alarming system •Trade- Dress & Clothing •Barber

  • Two years in-service training course.

TRADE INSTRUCTOR ‘B’ GRADE 10:

  • Successful completion of full Secondary Education., plus two years post secondary Technical Course in an area directly related to the trade to be taught as follows:

•Mechanical/ Diesel •Gen Electrician-solar energy •Gen Electrician •Auto Electrician & hybrid •Auto Mechanic •Building Construction •CCTV & security alarming system •Trade- Dress & Clothing •Barber

TRADE INSTRUCTOR ‘C’ GRADE 9:

  • Successful completion of full Secondary Education.

  • A post secondary Technical Course of two years duration in an area related to the trade to be taught as follows:

•Mechanical/ Diesel •Gen Electrician-solar energy •Gen Electrician •Auto Electrician & hybrid •Auto Mechanic •Building Construction •CCTV & security alarming system •Trade- Dress & Clothing •Barber

Work Experience TRADE INSTRUCTOR ‘A’ GRADE 11 - At least six years experience including two years’ work experience in the trade, or in a elated technical function and two years teaching experience. is required

TRADE INSTRUCTOR ‘B’ GRADE 10 - At least three years experience of satisfactory service as an instructor ‘C’ in the trade to the taught, plus one year work experience in the trade, or in a related technical function. is required

TRADE INSTRUCTOR ‘C’ GRADE 9 - No experience is required

Languages - Good knowledge of spoken and written English and Arabic.

Special Notice Contract Status: Fixed-Term Appointment for 3 years including 1 year probation period, with the possibility of further extension, subject to the availability of funds, satisfactory performance and continuing need.

Benefits: - Grade 9-11, Monthly Salary JD 634.60 - JD 710.10 Other benefits include Provident Fund contribution (15% of basic salary paid by the Agency), medical insurance. Dependency benefits are subject to eligibility.

General Information:

  • This vacancy notice is open to internal and external candidates. Only candidates residing in Jordan, and within commuting distance of the duty station with authorization to work in the duty station at the time of application are eligible to apply.
