Support WHO's health innovation ecosystem in Kuwait

You have:

  • Bachelor’s or Masters degree in international relations, political science, economics, business administration, information technology or another relevant technical field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as accuracy and professionalism in document production and editing.
  • Proven experience in conducting research and analysis in international affairs, preferably in a governmental agency, think tank, or multinational corporation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and information from multiple sources.
  • Proficiency in using analytical tools and software for data visualization and statistical analysis.
  • Knowledge of international law, diplomacy, and geopolitical dynamics.
  • Familiarity with cultural sensitivities and regional nuances in different parts of the world.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Commitment to teamwork and be able to work in a multi-disciplinary/cultural environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimum supervision, be dynamic, proactive, and creative.
  • Have affinity with or interest in advocacy for health, volunteerism as a mechanism for durable development, and the UN System.

This role support WHO's work in building an innovation ecosystem in Kuwait. Ultimately, the identified innovations will improve how technology is applied to solving problems in the health sector.

Develop an engagement strategy for WHO to identify and promote technology innovations that have the potential for positive impact on health.

This strategy will describe key approaches, methods and resources needed to identify and promote innovations. The UNV will work in a role similar to sales, where they focus on building pitches to support WHO's work.
