Overview

Provide technical support for youth-led advocacy and campaigns.

You have:

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in designing and implementing youth development, youth leadership, civic engagement, or social norm change programmes.
• Demonstrated experience in engaging and strengthening Youth-Led Organizations (YLOs), youth networks, and community-based youth groups.
• Proven experience in designing and facilitating youth-led campaigns, innovative initiatives, behaviour and social norm change interventions, and community mobilization.
• Experience in partnership management, and technical support to implementing partners.
• Experience in organizing trainings, workshops, dialogues, and learning events for youth, civil society organizations, and community stakeholders.
• Sounds understanding of positive youth development, youth engagement, and social norm change approaches.
• Clear understanding of gender equality, women's economic empowerment, and safeguarding principles.
• Familiarity with project cycle management, partnership coordination, and participatory capacity strengthening approaches.
• Masters Degree, preferably in Development Studies, Mass Media, Anthropology, Social Welfare, Gender Studies or any Social Sciences related subject.

The Opportunity Technical Specialist-Advocacy & Campaign is responsible for providing technical and implementing support to strengthen women-led, youth-led organizations, Youth groups, Youth in advancing women's economic rights, gender equality, and positive social norm change. The position supports the design, coordination, and quality implementation of social norm shifting campaigns, collective advocacy initiatives, organizational capacity development, feminist leadership, and partnership engagement. S/he will work closely with partners, government, civil society, and internal teams to strengthen institutional capacity, foster collaboration, generate evidence and learning, and promote sustainable, community-led approaches that contribute to long-term social transformation and organizational resilience.

Qualifications and Experience • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in designing and implementing youth development, youth leadership, civic engagement, or social norm change programmes within national or international development organizations. • Demonstrated experience in engaging and strengthening Youth-Led Organizations (YLOs), youth networks, and community-based youth groups. • Proven experience in designing and facilitating youth-led campaigns, innovative initiatives, behaviour and social norm change interventions, and community mobilization. • Experience in partnership management, and technical support to implementing partners • Experience in organizing trainings, workshops, dialogues, and learning events for youth, civil society organizations, and community stakeholders. • Sounds understanding of positive youth development, youth engagement, and social norm change approaches. • Clear understanding of gender equality, women's economic empowerment, and safeguarding principles. • Familiarity with project cycle management, partnership coordination, and participatory capacity strengthening approaches. • 60% time field visit is required from the position • Masters Degree, preferably in Development Studies, Mass Media, Anthropology, Social Welfare, Gender Studies or any Social Sciences related subject
