You have:

  • Educated to degree level standard and master's degree will be preferred.

  • Computer skill (MS Word, Excel) both in English and Myanmar.
  • Good speaking and writing skills in English and Myanmar.
  • This position requires travel to field sites on a regular basis at least 40% of the time.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support

  • Facilitate the training of lead educators and educators ensuring they are fully equipped to deliver effective training to community educators, parents and community members.
  • Lead teacher training sessions, parental education and community engagement training on a range of topics, including disability inclusion, to strengthen the capacity of project staff, community teachers, lead educators, parents, education management committee members and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in trainings, workshops, and seminars to support continuous professional development and stay updated on best practices.

Material development

  • Develop training plans and materials aligned with defined learning outcomes and context-friendly teaching aids.
  • Create standardized guidelines that promote disability inclusion, incorporating recommendations from donors and thematic partners.
  • Design 21st-century skills frameworks that integrate Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles and differentiated instruction to support inclusive learning environments.
  • Collaborate with the education technical team to update and enhance the project’s curriculum.

Monitoring and evaluation

  • Regular monitoring to enhance quality teaching and learning.
  • Provide continuous coaching and constructive feedback sessions to lead educators and community educators.
  • Report the project manager the mid-year and year-end evidence-based performance of the educators

Networking & External Engagement

  • Engage in networking and coordination with external education stakeholders and partners (Education Partners working group, Regional Committee, INGOs, National NGOs, etc.).
  • Participate in regional and township level education workshops, training and internal WVM meetings, workshops, etc.
  • Coordinate & work closely with other sectoral TP coordinators as well as with other relevant internal stakeholders at WV
  • Attend and contribute to meetings with donors and project-related discussions.

Knowledge/Qualifications for the role

  • Extensive experience of training, presenting and facilitating education issues and child related issues.
  • Experience of working within an INGO environment preferred.
  • Educated to degree level standard and master's degree will be preferred.
  • Work experience in education would be an advantage.
  • Detail oriented, Matured, Professional and able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Design, detailed implementation plans and monitoring and evaluation in the education sector.
