Overview
Lead technical program strategies to support vulnerable children's health.
You have:
- At least 2 years of experience in implementing nutrition programmes under the supervision of qualified health professionals and proof of delivering quality results.
- Medical doctor or Bachelor of Community Health or Bachelor of Nursing Science. Master of Public Health preferred.
- Training development and facilitation skills.
- Project management and development experience including assessment, design, monitoring and evaluation.
- Knowledge on child-focused development.
- In-depth knowledge on Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF) and Linkages between Nutrition and other Health and Development interventions.
- In-depth knowledge on programme design, monitoring and evaluation.
- Competent in use of Microsoft Office computer programs.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy Development and Planning
- Up-to-date Technical Approach, Technical Programme and related documents Document in place for MNCHN
- # of trips meetings participated to share and discuss the Technical Approach and Technical Programme documents
- # of Area Programs assisted to develop detailed implementation plans for Technical Programme
- # of Area Programs supported for Program review and evaluation
- Existence of an annual technical support plan aligned with the Health Technical Approach and its roll-out plan
Technical Support and Capacity Building
- # of APs -friendly training curricula and communication materials developed
- # of APs projects supported with technical training and coaching on MNCHN issues
- # of capacity building activities and events attended
Design, Monitoring and Evaluation and Sector Knowledge Management
- # of health needs assessments, baseline and endline assessments assisted
- # of concept papers and proposal documents assisted
- # of Monitoring/Evaluation tools developed/consolidated
- # of assigned ADPs using Monitoring/Evaluation tools
- # of project monitoring visits conducted
- reparation of Technical Programme Report and Child Wellbeing Report assisted actively and in a timely manner
- Sector resources, best practices and lessons learned accessible by staff at all levels
- # of Sector Working Group meetings organized
Networking and Coordination
- # ADPs supported for integration
- # of coordination/advocacy meetings participated at State/Regional and Township level
- # of meetings attended with Ministry of
- Health and other government officials
- Other tasks carried out with good judgement and responsibility
- Additional duties and assignments performed proactively in a timely manner
