  • Post-graduate University Degree in public health, social science, public administration, population studies, geography, non-profits management, communications or other relevant field.
  • 2 years relevant and progressively responsible experience in coordination and management of international development projects.
  • Fluency in English required; knowledge of other official UN languages, preferably French, is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of adolescent girls, child marriage, gender, youth.
  • Excellent written communications skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in organizing webinars and meetings.
  • Sound knowledge of the UN’s operational environment desirable.

Contract

Salary

The salary for this job should be between 101,253 USD and 137,526 USD.

Job Purpose:

This post will primarily provide project management support to HQ-led initiatives on child marriage including a campaign and programmatic tools for adolescent boys, partnership with a grantmaker to young feminist organizations, and research production and dissemination partnerships. Under the supervision of the UNFPA lead for the Global Programme to End Child Marriage, the candidate will ensure project milestones are achieved and all deliverables are completed by partners on a timely basis. The candidate will also assist in various Global Programme-related events and communications, visibility and knowledge-management initiatives.

Education:

Post-graduate University Degree in public health, social science, public administration, population studies, geography, non-profits management, communications or other relevant field.
