Technical Advisor to the Saker Falcon Task Force
Result of Service Advancement of the STF's work programme by coordinating the AMF DG, and providing technical support to deliver the AMF, electrocution and STF work programmes.

Expected duration 120 days over 24 months.
Duties and Responsibilities 1. Coordination of the Adaptive Management Framework Discussion Group in collaboration with the Saker Falcon Task Force (STF) Chair and the Raptors MOU Coordinating Unit (CU); 2. Work Planning and priority setting; 3. Identifying knowledge gaps; 4. Collecting and sharing information on existing activities related to Saker Falcon conservation and sustainable use and project proposal development; 5. Communicating and outreach; 6. Supporting the Electrocution Discussion Group
Qualifications/special skills Skills: Fully proficient computer skills, including standard PC software such as MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint are required. Academic Qualifications: Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in an environmental science, conservation, species management or similar field. A first-level university degree in combination with relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree. Experience: A minimum of 5 years of professional work experience in international species conservation is required. Experience facilitating international working groups, analyzing studies and guidelines and compiling best practices is required. Experience with species adaptive management principles and frameworks is required. Experience related to CMS or other species-related multilateral environmental agreements is desirable. Experience in project proposal development and fundraising processes is desirable. Language: Fluency in English (both oral and written) is required
