You have:
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrates advanced knowledge and experience working with Microsoft office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.). Ability and willingness to maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills in technology.
- Exhibits good organizational, problem-solving skills and ability to work competently with minimal supervision. Demonstrates attention to detail and quality.
- Demonstrates flexibility and is receptive to the implementation of new solutions. Is willing to stretch own capability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English, including ability to draft a variety of formal and informal correspondence.
- Ability to retrieve reference materials from various sources (e.g. databases or other filing systems, Internet, etc.)
- Demonstrated initiative and resourcefulness.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, fast-paced environment.

The AEMMG unit supports the World Bank’s program delivery in Madagascar, working closely with government counterparts, development partners, and internal teams to ensure effective implementation of projects and analytical activities. Duties and accountabilities:
The overall purpose of this role is to provide administrative, logistical and operational support to the World Bank Madagascar country office.
The main functions include but are not limited to:
• Provide full administrative support to the team, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements.
• Support the team with preparation and implementation of World Bank (WB) projects and activities according to the WB procedures.
• Draft routine correspondence (standard letters, memos, presentations, and meeting materials) in French and English, confirming to the organization’s standards, using proper grammar, punctuation, style.
• Support mission planning, logistics, and follow up actions for internal and external meetings.
• Serve as a first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and respond to routine inquiries.
• Collect and input data provided by Task Team Leaders into WB systems.
• Maintain filing systems, databases, and document management in line with WBG standards.
• Support procurement, invoicing, and administrative processes, ensuring compliance with WBG policies.
• Serve as back-up to other colleagues on administrative tasks.
Selection Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Technology and systems knowledge - Demonstrates advanced knowledge and experience working with Microsoft office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.). Ability and willingness to maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills in technology.
• Project and task management - Exhibits good organizational, problem-solving skills and ability to work competently with minimal supervision. Demonstrates attention to detail and quality. Has ability to manage multiple tasks and complete tasks within agreed schedule.
• Versatility and adaptability - Demonstrates flexibility and is receptive to the implementation of new solutions. Is willing to stretch own capability. Demonstrates motivation to avail and adapt oneself to effecting change.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English, including ability to draft a variety of formal and informal correspondence, proofread and edit materials.
• Ability to retrieve reference materials from various sources (e.g. databases or other filing systems, Internet, etc.)
• Demonstrated initiative and resourcefulness.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, fast paced environment.
• Experience working in international organizations or multicultural environments will be an asset.
