Result of Service The expected deliverables are: To ensure a smooth flow of works and proper coordination with the contractors who are or will be awarded projects in the UN House. Commitment to doing excellent work and to prioritize safety.

Work Location BEIRUT

Expected duration 3 Months

Duties and Responsibilities a. Assist the project management's team in the renovation works, monitoring the works and following up with contractors outside of office hours. Support the requests from the project management team and perform other duties as assigned, and report all works in progress b. Escort the contractors and the workers inside the building. c. Escort pick-ups and trucks to the basements and to the exit of the UN house. d. Accompany the workers in the service elevators e. Make sure all security guidelines and requirements are met by the workers f. Liaise daily on-site activities of the contractors and workers g. The basic role will be performed from 2:00pm till 10:00 pm during weekdays, and from 8 am till 4 pm. Working hours may vary depending on the hours and the nature of work the contractors are performing. h. Assist the team with needed site surveying, field inspections and quality control. i. The working hours shall be 2:00 pm till 10:00 pm weekdays, and 8:00 am till 4:00 pm weekends. Working hours may vary depending on the requirements of the works is progress. j. committed to doing excellent work and to prioritize safety.

Qualifications/special skills Competency: Communication is crucial for a construction project to be successful. Being proactive and not reactive and being able to make proper decisions. Are desirable. Skills: Excellent Communicator, Proactive Approach, Personal Accountability is desirable. Academic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture or similar is required. Experience: 4 years in working in facilities or construction sites is required. Language: Fluency in English is required.

Additional Information- FireFighting & Fire safety instructor - Head of the facility and assets management section in the Fire Station -Site Leader in numerous Fire and Rescue Missions - Notable Presence : Beirut port explosion and aftermath, Port fire, Search and Rescue missions in collapsed building, numerous fires (oil facilities, Depots, Boat, urban, forest) -Underwent Various formations with the lebanese civil defense in collaborations with french firefighters and the french embassy
