Teach online English classes for students in Andhra Pradesh, India

Tutors will be expected to provide 2 classes of 1 hour each week Classes will be provided on consecutive days - Monday & Tuesday or Wednesday & Thursday The classes will be provided in a high school in India, and school timings are 08:30am to 04:00pm. Therefore, tutors will be expected to provide classes only within school timings Priority will be given to candidates who can commit for 1 academic year (8-9months) Curriculum and support with lesson plans will be provided by the Ann Foundation Tutor training workshops will be organised

We are looking for online volunteers to conduct online English classes via Skype for children and youth in St Antony's High School. These are orphaned and semi orphaned children, they come from broken families and do not know English. Online Volunteers must be able to converse in Telugu and English.

Morning slots are from 09:00am to 12:30pm IST, afternoon sessions are between 01:00pm to 04:30pm IST. Exact timings can be fixed with interviewer.

Online Volunteers will be required to teach for one hour on two consecutive days at a mutually agreed time and date. We are looking for volunteers who can teach Monday& Tuesday or Wednesday&Thursday.

Orientation and training will be given, access to syllabus will be given to all the volunteers. If you have the skills, the time and the compassion, then you are best suited for this opportunity.

Fluency in Telugu and English is mandatory as the students are at beginners level. Some experience in teaching would be preferred but not necessary.

We prefer online volunteers who are motivated & committed because the children consider the volunteers as their teacher, mentor, and a friend.
