Teach online English classes to empower children

You have:

• Fluency in both Kannada and English is required.
• Commitment to teach 2 classes per week for 26 weeks is expected.
• Good internet connection is required for conducting online classes.
• Some experience in teaching is preferred but not mandatory.
• Availability for classes from 3 PM to 4 PM India Time.
• Volunteers need to upload CV with their application.

We are looking for volunteers to conduct online English classes for children inKarnataka. Volunteers best suited for this opportunity will be proficient both in Kannada and English.These are underprivileged children comes from broken families. We need dedicated volunteers who are willing to make a commitment in teaching 2 classes per week for 26 weeks. The duration of each class is about an hour. Orientation will be given to the volunteers. Classes are conducted online via Skype. and are held between 3 to 4 PM India Time. Volunteers are expected to have good internet connection. Access to the Curriculum will be given. Please note: Please apply only if you know the Kannada language. Timings for these classes are 3-4 PM India Time

  Offering online English classes is part of our literacy project for children and youth. We hope to develop the English communication skills of children and youth for acquiring fulfilling and rewarding employment opportunities in the future. We focus on empowering the children in developing countries. Volunteers will be preparing children to be literate, employable, and independent lifelong learners.

• 1-5 hours per week / 26 weeks
