Volunteer to teach online English classes to children.
You have:
- Fluency in Kannada and English is required.
- Commitment to teach 2 classes per week for 26 weeks.
- Some experience in teaching is preferred but not mandatory.
- Good internet connection is required for conducting classes online.
- Availability for classes scheduled between 3 PM to 4 PM Indian time is necessary.

We are looking for volunteers to conduct online English classes for children in Bettigere, Karnataka.Volunteers best suited for this opportunity will be proficient both in Kannada and English.These are underprivileged children comes from broken families. We need dedicated online volunteers who are willing to make a commitment in teaching 2 classes per week via Skype for 26 weeks. The duration of each class is about an hour. Orientation will be given to the volunteers. Classes are held between 3 to 4 PM India Time. Classes are conducted online via Skype. Volunteers are expected to have good internet connection. Access to the Curriculum will be given. Please note: Please apply only if you know the Kannada language.

Offering online English classes is part of our literacy project for children and youth. We hope to develop the English communication skills of children and youth for acquiring fulfilling and rewarding employment opportunities in the future. We focus on empowering the children in developing countries. Volunteers will be preparing children to be literate, employable, and independent lifelong learners.

1-5 hours per week / 26 weeks
