Overview
Counsel eligible family members of index TB patients for TB Preventive Treatment.
You have:
- Bachelor's degree in social sciences, Public Health, Psychology, or a related field from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in counselling, community health work/engagement, or TB-related programs, preferably with an NGO/INGO or in a healthcare setting.
- Understanding of TB, including patient counselling, excellent communication, coordination and training skills, contact screening, and community-level outreach.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in Urdu and English; knowledge of regional/local languages is an asset.
- Basic computer proficiency, including MS Word, Excel, and data entry tools.
- Ability to build rapport and counsel individuals and families from diverse backgrounds with sensitivity and empathy.
- Ability to conduct regular visits/travel within the community for outreach activities.
