Tax Manager ( Afghan Nationals Only )

Job Description

- Provide innovative tax planning and review complex income tax returns. - Identify and mitigate tax risks. - Manage tax provision and tax compliance process. - Maintain tax balances on general ledger. - Make sure to apply income tax law and other tax policies on office taxation. - Collect the complete paperwork for withholding taxes. - Create online tax forms on monthly bases for rental, contractor and payroll taxes. - Remit and transfer monthly taxes to the ministry of finance. - Maintain and file all tax documents by soft and hard copies. - Update general tax tracker sheet on monthly bases. - Prepare and process annual tax return package. - Provide Training based on need to field and Main office staff. - Obtain annual tax clearance letter from MTO. - Clarify and solve any tax issue. - Make sure all taxes which have been paying by IRC are recorded in to the MTO system. - Clear all pending taxes with MTO even from the past years. - Assist with yearend documentations and external audit preparation. - Prepare and review of any necessary tax reports. - Providing support to finance team members during the monthly and yearly closure of the accounts. - Any other Task assigned by direct / technical supervisors.

Qualifications

- Must have knowledge of taxation, computer office package especially MS Excel and MS word packages. - Bachelor’s degree is must, Master will be preferred – prior experience with computerized accounting package and payment examining. - At least 3-4 years working experience with INGOs. Past experiences with taxation will be preferred. - Detail orientated, organized, and able to work well in fast paced environment. - Should be able to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal skills) - Should be able to work in cross-cultural environment. - Should be a team-player, with flexible working habits and willingness to take on additional tasks as required to forward the aims of the team. - Should have team spirit, and work to foster good cooperation with other colleagues in the team and wider IRC Country Program.
