The Global Surge Coordination Unit (GSCU) is looking for one online volunteer to support the team in developing a data reporting dashboard. The selected candidate will report to the Business Transformation Officer and work closely with colleagues in the digitalization team, GSCU and other colleagues in the organization to collaboratively work towards common goals. The volunteer is expected to support the team remotely. Learning: The Online Volunteer will gain knowledge and experience in building standardized dashboards on Tableau, including data pipelines, Data analysis, visualization, storytelling and drawing insights.

The Global Surge Coordination Unit (GSCU) is looking for one online volunteer to support the team in developing a data reporting dashboard. The selected candidate will report to the Business Transformation Officer and work closely with colleagues in the digitalization team, GSCU and other colleagues in the organization to collaboratively work towards common goals.

The selected online volunteer is expected to:

• Develop Global Surge Tableau dashboard. • Successfully perform the desired qualitative and quantitative analysis and visualizations related to the dashboard. • Produce dashboard-related trends and gaps analysis to share insights and recommendations. • Work closely - a round one meeting a week - with relevant counterparts across the unit to ensure consistency and accuracy of messaging. • Maintain confidentiality in handling the data in the reporting.

• Experience with WFP or other relevant organizations in the data management and statistics sector is desirable, preferably with development/humanitarian actors. • Experience in at least one significant coordination role or project management role dealing with numerous parties/stakeholders and large data sets. • Experience with different IT tools for performance management will be an asset. • Familiarity with data warehousing and business intelligence concepts. • Strong proficiency in using data visualization software (Tableau, PowerBI, Qlikview, etc.) and setting-up dynamic dashboards.
• Excellent analytical skills in analyzing business needs and experience in data visualization. • Good skills in the use of standard methodologies for data analysis. • Have good communication skills for responding to queries, writing reports, and making presentations. • Have good interpersonal skills for teamworking and operating in a multicultural environment.
