You have:
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, Management, Economics, Political, Social Science, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights or Business and Counseling from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant working experience
- High School diploma with four years of working experience
- Indonesian national with good knowledge of, and experience supporting programme and operational activities, particularly in protection assistance and mental-health related activities
- Experience providing project implementation support; exposure to training activities is an advantage
- Experience supporting administrative activities
- Experience supporting migration management activities, with exposure to immigration processes and beneficiary context
- Ability to support programme implementation and routine monitoring activities
- Proficiency in standard office software applications
- Ability to prepare clear and concise basic reports in English based on provided information
Contract

IOM Indonesia is engaged in several thematic areas, including: Counter-Trafficking, Labour Mobility and Social Inclusion, Disasters, Climate and Resilience, Immigration and Border Governance, Refugee Care, Migration Health, Migration Policy and Data Hub, and Resettlement and Voluntary Returns.
IOM Indonesia aims to ensure quality of care for refugees and asylum seekers referred to IOM by the Government of Indonesia according to applicable international humanitarian and human rights standards. The Programme supports refugees through healthcare, education, basic needs, and contributes to the increased protection of vulnerable subgroups, such victims of sexual and gender- based violence, among others, through referral mechanisms involving the active participation of specialized state and non-state service providers. It also contributes to supporting them with the eventual sustainable pathways.
Under the direct supervision of the Programme Officer (Protection and Community Liaison), and the overall supervision of the Community Accountability Coordinator in Jakarta, the incumbent provides administrative and operational support to Protection and Refugee Care activities under relevant programmes implemented across Indonesia. The incumbent works under guidance with the Jakarta RCA team and other relevant units. Support is provided to field locations primarily remotely and through periodic visits, as requested. Additionally, the incumbent supports case management activities, community engagement, and other pertinent tasks for the Makassar office, following established procedures. All responsibilities are carried out in alignment with programme requirements and in accordance with IOM policies and standards.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, Management, Economics, Political, Social Science, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights or Business and Counseling from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant working experience; or,
- High School diploma with four years of working experience.

Experience
- Indonesian national with good knowledge of, and experience supporting programme and operational activities, particularly in protection assistance and mental-health related activities.
- Experience providing project implementation support ; exposure to training activities is an advantage.
- Experience supporting administrative activities.
- Experience supporting migration management activities, with exposure to immigration processes and beneficiary context.
Skills
- Ability to support programme implementation and routine monitoring activities.
- Ability to support coordination and liaison with Government Departments/Authorities, UN agencies and other international organizations, private sector and other stakeholders.
- Ability to prepare clear and concise basic reports in English based on provided information.
- Proficiency in standard office software applications.
Languages
IOM’s official languages are English, French and Spanish.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Support the implementation and monitoring of Protection, including PSEAH, GBV, and child protection activities under the RCA.
- Retrieve, compile, summarize, and present information/data on the Protection activities, cases and related activities.
- Provide administrative support to budget monitoring processes; verify availability of funds; obtain necessary approval and update budget related information on Protection.
- Support field visits by following up on service delivery and collecting beneficiary feedback using established tools and procedures.
- Provide administrative and logistical support to PSEAH-related activities in coordination with the Jakarta team.
- Support the delivery of assistance and protection services to refugees under IOM’s Programme, in line with RCA Operational Guidelines and instructions.
- Draft status reports, highlight gaps in follow-through actions, and bring them to the attention of the supervisor.
- Draft correspondence, reports, briefing notes, graphics, statistical tables, presentations and other forms of documentation.
- Organize meetings, workshops and training sessions.
- Respond to general information requests and inquiries on Protection ; set up and maintain files/records.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
