The United Nations Volunteers (UNV) contributes to sustainable human development through volunteerism worldwide, and volunteerism play a pivotal role in facilitating the engagement of Viet Nam individuals with the UN system, to contribute to peace and development in the country.

To that end, we are seeking to collaborate with Online Volunteers in talent outreach activities through digital advocacy and mapping exercise. As Online Volunteers, your task is to support the UN Volunteers (UNV) in disseminating the upcoming talent outreach activities/campaigns, sharing volunteer assignments on various social media platforms to encourage prospective candidates to join the UNV Talent Pool, and do research on talent sourcing and mapping.

We are currently seeking the assistance of 10 Online Volunteers , under the guidance of the UNV Operations Analyst - Regional Talent Acquisition, to support in promoting volunteering opportunities in Viet Nam and attracting a diverse pool of candidates to support UN response initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Disseminating UNV opening opportunity, promote Unified Volunteer Platform (UVP) and talent outreach activities/ campaign with professional networks that match to target group via social media

2. Identifying and research talent acquisition trends in Viet Nam

   2.1 Local Job portals

   2.2 Talent outreach event

   2.3 University alumni network

   2.4 Professional association, local NGOs and local organization in Viet Nam for the topic below.

• Communication

• Gender and Inclusion (Person with disabilities , ethnic groups)

• Health

• Midwife

• WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene)

• Child protection

• Information and Technology ; Data Analysis

• Food security

• Humanitarian

• Monitoring and evaluation

• Engineering

3. Actively participating in any talent outreach online event that are taking place during the Online Volunteering assignment period
4. Provide the report to UNV for your activities and have discussion with the Regional Talent Acquisition Focal Point

Your diligent record-keeping of dissemination efforts will enable us to continue the work you started.

Remark : One Online Volunteer would be selected to provide coordination support in managing the online volunteers engagement under this assignment.

• Experience in talent acquisition, talent mapping and digital communications

• Have active account in social media and willing to make the social media account “Public”. For example: Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn and relevant local social media
