You have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Economy, Journalism, International Relations, Science, Environment, or other relevant areas.
- At least 1 year of experience in analytical function, performing reviews, drafting reports, and briefs.
- Strong analytical and writing skills as well as the ability to provide and present data in a concise manner are required.
- Knowledge of the international development context (desirable).
- Deep understanding of Ukrainian context, awareness about key political and state authorities, and main processes related to recovery and development in Ukraine.
- Solid overall computer literacy.

The Data Team within the Policy and Programme Coherence Unit provides real-time data insights, analytics, and coordination support to inform decision-making processes. Online Volunteers will be supporting the process of Secondary Data Review: reviewing analytical products and tagging them according to the provided analytical framework.
A Secondary Data Review (SDR) is a research technique used to obtain information to create a clear analytical overview. An analyst undertaking an SDR takes into account multiple pieces of secondary data in order to create a coherent as possible picture on a specific topic.
This is an Online/Remote Volunteering opportunity, please read the conditions that apply for Online Volunteering.
The Online Volunteers will be required to support this task daily (3-4 hours per day) on Secondary Data Review. in support of UNDP Ukraine's program management activities, in particular, this will require: • Search for relevant data, reports, and publications using defined indicators. • Record sources in the shared tracker with complete metadata to ensure traceability and avoid duplication. • Review logged materials and tag documents, web pages, and reports according to the provided Analytical Framework. • Verify the accuracy and consistency of information during the review; flag outdated or conflicting data for validation. • Translate essential findings (main messages) from Ukrainian to English as needed. • Edit and format Secondary Data Review outputs for clarity and consistency. • Provide reviewed and formatted content for internal knowledge products, including Biweekly Digests, Thematic Digests, Community Profiles, etc.
The Online Volunteers will receive an onboarding training, weekly e-meetings, regular feedback and support with regard to the task.
Assessment Evaluation of qualified candidates may include an assessment exercise which may be followed by an interview.
