Through their commitment to accountability to affected people (AAP), OCHA aims to ensure humanitarian action protects and preserves the rights and dignity of crisis-affected people, remains relevant and effective, leaves no one behind and upholds humanitarian principles.
The volunteer will get familiar with the activities and tools used by OCHA to strengthen Accountability to Affected People. During the assignment they will assist the AAP Information Management Specialist revamping the IASC Accountability and Inclusion Portal. This portal was created to help practitioners implement people-centered approaches, through sharing resources, providing support and promoting learning and knowledge-sharing. Volunteers will be asked to attend meetings in the Central European Summer Time (CEST) zone.
Experience designing websites is required. Experience managing knowledge repositories is desired.
