An SDG Integration Team located with UNDP’s Global Policy Network (GPN) offers a menu of services emphasizing direct short- to medium-term engagements to respond rapidly to requests from country offices for support on national implementation and monitoring of integrated policy solutions, qualitative and evidence-driven analysis for accelerated progress, and knowledge sharing and upscaling of innovative approaches to sustainable development. The team’s work emphasizes the application of evidence- driven data and analytics for SDG implementation and reporting. In this regard, advances in digital technology are creating data at unprecedented levels of detail and speed, turning the stories of people’s lives into numbers every minute of every day, across the globe.

The team is looking for a motivated online volunteer to support with identifying, researching, and mapping private sector donors, with a specific focus on their ESG commitments and related programs. This should entail providing recommendations on effective communication and relationship-building approaches, tailored to ESG principles. Strategic insights provided will play a pivotal role in strengthening partnerships that drive sustainable development initiatives worldwide. Key deliverables include a 5 pages report on fundraising strategy, including a mapping of donor interests, priorities, funding windows as well as inputs to at least 2 draft proposals.

-Background in business, marketing, development studies, international relations, or related fields. -Experience in ESG engagements and/or familiarity with ESG commitments, methodologies, and programs within the private sector. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -Strong analytical and research abilities. -Commitment to the principles and values of the United Nations.
