You have:

  • Proven experience in graphic design and document layouts
  • In-depth knowledge of graphic design applications
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • A degree in graphic design or related field
  • Availability for 6-10 hours per week for 12 weeks

We are looking for two creative and motivated online volunteers to support our the SDG Working group with creating designs and artwork used in our SDG flier, news letter and policy briefs for the Voluntary National Review Report . The online volunteers will be asked to create a design for the document which consists of approximately 2-5 pages of text, including tables, graphs and images. The design and its layout should follow our corporate design guidelines which will be shared with the online volunteers in advance.

    The results framework of the 2030 Global Agenda consists of 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with 169 Targets and 232 indicators. The government of the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) is committed to localizing the SDG to support its development aspirations enshrined in FSM’s Strategic Development Plan (SDP) 2004-2023. The SDP serves as the country’s highest level policy framework and is premised on the theme of achieving economic growth and self reliance. In 2016,the President of the Federated States of Micronesia created the SDG Working Group (WG) comprised of all national Departments and Agencies and chaired by the Department of Resources and Development The SDG Working group has the responsibility of coordinating and raising awareness on the Agenda 2030 and its implementation. The SDG working group in a bid to strengthen its visibility would like to design newsletter, fliers and policy brief templates. Under its capacity building program, UNDP is supporting the government of the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) through Technical Assistance to the SDG working group. The online Volunteers will work closely with the SDG working group and UN team in FSM

  • 6-10 hours per week / 12 weeks

    Candidates should be professional with graphic design with previous experience in designing document layouts, have in-depth knowledge of graphic design applications, good verbal and written communication skills. A degree in graphic design or related field is considered an asset
